A message from Spencer Beattie, the County Master of the County Grand Orange Lodge of Belfast. Tonight would normally be the last of our District parades before the 12th of July. However, as with all our traditional summer parades, the Ballynafeigh annual parade has been cancelled in an effort to stop the spread of Covid-19.
The parade would normally see the Ballynafeigh lodges parade the Annandale area, then making their way to the Cregagh estate where a short Act of Remembrance is held before returning through the Rosetta area to their Orange Hall on the Ormeau Road.
Please enjoy this video which contains footage of the members and bands parading in south Belfast on previous occasions. As you enjoy the memories and music, we trust next year we will all be able to join the Ballynafeigh Brethren and Sisters as they again parade their local community.
Remember this year It’s about the Battle with the Bug.
